FDX Webinar: Certification Use Cases

Financial Data Exchange is hosting a member exclusive webinar on Certification Use Cases for Account Linking for Payments and Account Owner Verification. It will cover the data profiles that describe required data elements needed by applications for these use cases. The presenters will go over the scope, the process and the outcome of work to define these data profiles that will be used to assess FDX API implementation for qualification against these Certification Use Cases.

Jason C. Kocherhans is Director of Product, Finicity "Manage" Solutions at Mastercard. Jason is a 15 year financial industry veteran, with 10 of those in fintech. He leads a team of product managers focused on providing accurate, timely, and broad data delivery to personal finance, wealth, and accounting applications. His drive to help individuals to better manage their finances to live a better life directs his and his team's current work to master understanding of financial industry data, architect and build platforms to accurately and securely store it, and help consumers share their data via their consent with the financial applications of their choice. Jason is an active participant in the FDX API working group and co-chairs the FDX Use Case Development Task Force. Jason is also a personal coach and mentor who loves building people up to be the best they can be. He has personally coached and mentored 100’s of individuals and couples on personal finances and how to accomplish their life goals. 

  Susan M. Pandy, Ph.D., is Sr Principal, Payments Industry Relations at Discover Financial Services. Susan is a seasoned payments professional with over 20 years of experience in the industry. At Discover, she focuses on building strategic relationships and alliances within industry bodies related to payments, e-commerce, and emerging technologies. Susan leads participation in relevant industry bodies, such as FDX and the Chamber of Digital Commerce and provides strategic insights and analysis related to key trends in open banking and digital assets. Susan previously worked for the Federal Reserve Bank of Boston as the Director, Payment Strategies. She led internal, cross-system, and external workgroups to provide the industry, policymakers, and the regulatory community with thought leadership. Susan has led projects and published whitepapers on the topics of open banking, digital assets, digital payment solutions (e.g., SRC, 3DS, tokenization), and more. Prior to the Fed Boston, Susan spent 10 years with NACHA-The Electronic Payments Association, as the leader of a 100-member council to advance e-commerce over open networks. Susan has a Ph.D. in Public Administration & Policy from Virginia Polytechnic Institute & State University (Go Hokies!). She is adjunct faculty at Bridgewater State University in Massachusetts where she teaches administrative law and public sector ethics. She has an M.P.A. in Public Administration from Cleveland State University and a B.S. in Political Science from the University of Toledo. Susan is an avid tennis player year-round
